MISSIONS
:St. Paul encourages us to be Christ’s hand and feet to show God’s love both locally and across His creation. In addition to our local outreach, we support mission work around the world. Our mission committee heads these efforts to help us become aware of the needs in different places with special mission moments during worship and some special visits from those people doing the work in the field. In addition, our church members have been part of mission teams to the Dominican Republic to help with their local church building projects and Bible school. News of Missions * On Feb. 9, we had two inspiring talks from representatives of Rise Again Outreach. Find out more about our recent visitors from Rise Again Outreach Ministry on their website *The Salvation Army of Berlin will visit us for a brief presentation during the service and a fuller presentation during the fellowship hour at a future date. 2019 Dominican Republic Mission Trip:
Watch our mission video by clicking on the button below. The 8-person mission team on the 2019 Mission to the Dominican Republic during Feb 15-23 helped completed the interior painting of the new Riviera Del Cariba church and lead a daily after school Bible school program for 60-90 children. Our church fund raisers— the January Soup and Sandwich lunch and the chocolate dipped pretzels project– raised needed funds to help cover construction costs for a new church concrete floor and painting project. We are truly “God’s hands” helping to pay it forward to many future generations of Christians. Thanks to all our “non traveling” mission members by your prayers or donations of much needed and appreciated supplies and clothing for children there. |
