Go therefore and make disciples of all nations
Matthew 28:19
As Jesus Christ Himself instructed his disciples when He ascended into heaven, the whole world is the Christian Church's mission field! Our church supports a variety of mission activities locally and globally. Our mission activities are coordinated by an active and intensely dedicated Missions Committee. The committee feels genuinely privileged to be a part of this important and endlessly fascinating endeavor, offering abundant opportunities to meet and develop
friendships and partnerships with extraordinary people who serve God in
remarkable ways. They are truly blessed to be a part of a process wherein a spark of love in Etna is translated to acts of tangible love throughout the world. The effects of that love resonate through eternity in ways we cannot now conceive. We invite you to participate in our Missions as part of commitment to Christ's Great Commission, as recorded in the Gospel of Matthew and Luke's book of Acts.

Missions Committee Update (February 2026) – Adult & Teen Challenge New England. Almost exactly one year ago, we were visited by Hector Andujar of Adult and Teen Challenge (A&TC) New England, one of our 10 supported Missions ministries. Two committee members had the pleasure and privilege on Jan. 23, 2026 to attend the graduation ceremony of Montie Hansen, one of three program participants who also visited us last year. A&TC is a life changing, Christian-based program for people with alcohol and drug addiction/abuse issues. In contrast to other programs, which too often fail or have transient results, A&TC places Christ at the center of the year-long program and seeks not only sobriety but, through the power of Christ, the creation of new men and women prepared to face the trials to come and to reconcile with family and friends. The fundamental precept of the program is found in Isaiah 43: 18-19a.
“Remember not the former things,
nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?..."
