Website Update:  Our URL (https://etnahanovercenterchurch.org/) hasn't changed, but, if you have been on the church website this week, you've probably noticed that things look different. We hope, in this case, that different is better!  We've made changes to improve not only the "look and feel," but also the usefulness of the website.  There's now even a phone app (available for Apple and Android devices).  The new website services will allow us to make other changes to improve the church's ability to serve our members, friends, visitors, and all who seek the fullness of God. The Food Pantry needs some extra help over the next couple of weeks. Please go to https://listen.volunteerhub.com/vv2/lp/foodpantry to see the volunteer openings. Work involves customer service, registering customers, stocking shelves, sorting vegetables, unloading trucks, cleaning, etc.

No summer doldrums here! Here's a list of important activities and dates that are on the horizon even now. As always, you can also check the church calendar for goings-on.

• Sunday August 13 @ 12 pm - Baptism of Kalee Shoup at Goose Pond
• Sunday August 20 @ 12 pm - Back to School Bash @ Etna church (kids and teens 5 - 18 years old)
• Tuesday September 12 @ 6 pm - Launch of “the Alpha Course” (more info will be coming)
• Fall Fest Saturday Oct 14
• Vision Weekend - October 20-22
• Joyful Bells Christmas Concert - Dec 10 @ 1:30 pm

Missions Committee updates: The Etna Missions Committee has shared a trio of updates from Cru Military, one of the multiple significant ministries that our congregation supports.  You may read this short update by clicking here.  Thank you all for your interest and support in the mission of "reducing to practice" the Great Commission!

COMING SOON! Our 6th annual Upper Valley Community Band Concert, with homemade pie and ice cream will be on Saturday July 22nd at 6:30 pm on the Etna Green, 195 Etna road, rain or shine.  The concert is free -- donations are welcome for our church's Christian Outreach.
There will be a pie sign-up sheet at the Sunday Service in Hanover Center on July 16th.

We ask if the pie(s) can be brought to the Etna Church, Trumbull Hall by 5 pm on the 22nd to allow time to prepare them for serving. The event will be a good time for great music, fellowship, and pie and ice cream.
