2023 Fall Fest is this Saturday!
Fall Fest: Our annual Fall Fest will be held at the First Baptist Church Etna, and is designed to bring together people of all ages. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor looking for an authentic New Hampshire experience, the Fall Fest is the perfect occasion to mingle, enjoy good music, and eat some good food fresh off the grill.
The festivities kick off at 3:00 pm. From the moment you step onto the grounds, you'll be greeted by the sound of live music filling the air. Local bands and talented musicians will take the stage, providing the perfect soundtrack to your Fall Fest experience. While the music plays, you can also participate in a variety of games designed for attendees of all ages, but especially for kids!
Of course, no festival would be complete without food and drinks!
The festivities continue into the evening, with a special event from 5:00 to 6:00 pm: a contra dance! If you've never tried contra dancing before, you're in for a treat. This traditional form of folk dance is easy to learn and a lot of fun. The rhythmic music and lively steps create an infectious energy that's sure to get your feet moving. Don't worry if you're new to contra dancing - there will be plenty of seasoned dancers ready to show you the ropes.
All ages welcome! See you there!

Missions Committee Update: Please click here to see the quarterly newsletter from Rise Again Outreach. Their Healing Ministries, Prison Ministries, and Transition Programs are expanding. Of interest is their first successful transition of a person from the women's prison. Especially impressive is the fact that there is zero recidivism over three years for the 11 people that have worked with Rise Again. This ministry is accomplishing great things.
Rummage Sale update: The Etna Ladies Aid Society wishes to express their sincere thanks to the many people who donated to and shopped at our fall rummage sale. We are very pleased to report that $4,187.62 was raised during this two-day event. We will decide in upcoming meetings what local community projects and service organizations which we will support with these funds. Mark your calendars for our next rummage sale: April 12 and 13, 2024.
