For I pass on to you what I received from the Lord himself. On the night when he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and said, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me." In the same way, he took the cup of wine after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood. Do this in remembrance of me as often as you drink it.” For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are announcing the Lord’s death until he comes again. – 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 (NLT)
Men's breakfast: Our monthly men's breakfast will be happening this Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 8 am in Trumbull Hall. What better way to start a weekend than having breakfast and fellowship with a great group of guys... Hope to see you there on Saturday morning! Please join us - the more, the merrier!
Communion Sunday: This Sunday, June 1, we will celebrate Communion at our 10 am worship service. If you livestream with us, you should have a cracker or a piece of bread and a small cup (sip) of juice or other drink available if you would like to join us in this celebration.
Congregational Meeting: The First Baptist Church of Etna will hold a special congregational meeting this Sunday, June 1, 2025, after the worship service. Purpose will be to provide updates on leadership, governance, and plans for the transitional period which we are entering.

Our Sunday morning Bible discussion group resumes this Sunday morning, June 1, at 9 am in Trumbull Hall. We'll be reading and discussing John's first epistle (1 John) chapter by chapter over the next five weeks.
Our Wednesday morning Bible discussion group meets weekly at 10 am in Trumbull Hall to talk about Sunday's Scripture reading and sermon.
Our Bible discussions are lively, thought-provoking, and delightfully Spirit-led. They also offer coffee and snacks! Please join us whenever you are able to do so. No previous experience required!

Church Vision meeting: Immediately following our Sunday morning worship service on June 22, 2025, we will have a meeting to discuss our church vision and approach as we move forward as part of Christ's Body here on earth.
