Auction update: Becky LaHaye reports that last Saturday's auction, sponsored by the Etna Ladies Aid Society, was a great success. The auction was well attended and featured plenty of dandy items, many bidders, and superb weather. Proceeds from the auction itself were $4432.50, with additional money raised via food sales (net income still to be determined). Proceeds will be used to benefit Upper Valley community and service organizations.

Sunday Livestream: My apologies to all those who were unable to view (or, more to the point, to hear) our service online last Sunday. We had a very minor technical glitch (the audio feed button was turned off) that none of us was able to identify until (of course!) after the end of the service. Unfortunately, our local safety backup recording is likewise a silent movie. Since we know which button was turned off by mistake, there should be no similar issue with this coming Sunday's livestream! mrh
Summer -- in Hanover Center! Our Sunday morning services are being held at the Hanover Center church (6 Parade Ground Road) for two more Sundays (August 18 and 25). We'll be back in Etna for the fall beginning Sunday, September 1. Our summer services start, as usual, at 10 am.
As always, it has been a pleasure and a joy to worship in the gloriously reverberant sanctuary of the Hanover Center church this summer! Thanks to all "up the road" whose efforts have helped to make our summer worship a pleasing and fragrant offering to God. Soli Deo gloria! We thank God for raising up several members of our congregation who are "filling in" for Pastor Chris on the Sundays while he is away. Special thanks go to Rev. Heidi Hoskin for preaching and for leading our Communion service on August 4th.
